The North American Elk Breeders Association (NAEBA) applauds Arby’s restaurants in their willingness to serve elk and venison sandwiches at some of their locations. While there is some pushback from a few people who consider elk to be wildlife rather than regulated farmed livestock, NAEBA is glad to see that President Teddy Roosevelt’s 1908 push for elk and venison to be used as a healthy red meat alternative is continuing to move forward.
